Where we source our plants

Our plants are sourced and grown from a variety of methods. We have several species that we grow from seed harvested sustainably in Muskoka and area as well as species grown from seed purchased from native seed suppliers in Ontario.  We also purchase plants, shrubs, and trees from other native plant growers in Ontario.  All of our plants are seed sourced from within Ontario. Our commitment

We are committed to selling only plants native to Ontario.  We also practice sustainable harvesting of seeds and always require permission prior to harvesting.  Plants that are purchased are sourced from credible native plant suppliers that also share our values and sustainable practices.

We abide by the North American Native Plant Society Ethical Guidelines for sustainable seed harvesting by collecting less than 10% of the total in any location and do not collect seeds from plants listed as rare or threatened.
